“#BuyLocalVermont is a program created by the State of Vermont that uses CARES Act funding to aid Vermont businesses and residents struggling in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The #BuyLocalVermont program—powered by GoNift.com—promises to bring in the foot traffic needed to quickly increase sales for restaurants, retail stores, entertainment and performing arts venues, lodging and tourism related businesses.
The program will begin incentivising purchases on Sept. 8, 2020, via a limited time $30 #BuyLocalVermont offer, given to residents on a first come, first served basis. When a resident activates their offer, they’ll be matched with participating local Vermont businesses where they can use those funds. It’s a program that puts real money in the hands of residents and jumpstarts sales for the small businesses powering our communities.”
